The latest data research firm Comscore suggests that an increasing number of users are using their mobile devices for social networking and games. By the end of the second quarter of 36.9 percent of mobile users visited a social network or blog with a device that nearly percent more than in the previous quarter (36.1%). Percentage of mobile games has increased by almost as much, with 32.6 per cent to 33.4 per cent.
The most rapidly growing sectors of the mobile content is music and applications. The number of music listeners increased by 2.3 percent to 27.6 percent. The number of downloaded apps has increased from 50 percent to 51.4 percent.
