The system, which will be located in the Joint Supercomputer Center of RAS, promises to be the most powerful in Russia, surpassing the first position of a supercomputer "Lomonosov". In a worldwide ranking Top100 in June 2012, "Lomonosov" took 22nd place with a score of 0.9 petaflops.
In the RAS will be built super computer performance at 10 petaflops. The first two columns supercomputer to start before the end of 2012. Their total capacity is approximately two petaflops. The final version of the system, according to the project will consist of 54 racks.
